All I care about is result 4:3
Tottenham is going to League Cup semi-final after winning match against Manchester United with "beautiful result" of 4:3. It happen yesterday on Ortodox "Saint Nicolas" day. This Christian Saint threw little bag with gold to poor man to save him and his daughters from poverty and doing sins and last night he shows up in face of Fraser Forster, Lisandro Martinez and Man United goalkeeper and surely threw bag of gold to someone, but not me because I didn't bet on this result. First half Porro shoot from very long range has been deflected by reserve Man United goalie, no defender ran back to clear, only Solanke was there to score from the post for 1:0. That was result of first half. Real spectacle happen in second. Martinez did bad clearance straight to Kulusevski on 1-2 meters from him and Swede hit the target for 2:0. Then Solanke scored again very nice goal through the legs of defender after nice move. 3:0 it's surely over, "Oh when the Spurs go marching in" was echoing on stadium by exalted home fans... Then Forster started to make strange mistakes. He saved Zirkze header from close range which happen after his first bad pass. Straight after he sent too short ball inside own box toward Dragusin which was intercepted and Man United scored. Few minutes later he tried to kick ball toward center but waited for too long and his attempt has been blocked and ball ended inside the net for 3:2! Then one shot from 20 m. happen and he kicked it with foot to center in anger! Close to 90 minute Spurs made attack which ended in corner. Son went slow toward it, Martinez said something to him, something like you are coward. Korean turned around and responded something, took the ball and scored spectacular goal straight from the corner! Bergvall distracted goalkeeper on goal line, and ball ended inside the net! 4:2! Then like gentlemen from Far East love the most in stoppage time, like against Chelsea, after corner on other side Bissouma and Evans together scored goal for 4:3! I don't know what happen after because I lost the signal, but result stayed 4:3. What to tell than quote Poch who said once "Mistakes are part of football" and answer with resolutely "Yes" on Sky Sport question of Ange Postecoglou "Are you entertained ?" There is no better entertaining than watching football match ending in 4:3! Curiosity is that before the game ex player Sten Colymore said this it's nice to think they will score 3 but I will score 4 and win the game, but it's nice in August, September, October, when all are fresh and ready, but in this time of season it's not. I replied this: my friend Stan it's always good time for result 4:3! :) I love when I am right like this. :) By the way I watched on you tube "life of St. Nicolas" from online spiritual library, that's why I know he threw bag of gold in secret trough window helping poor man and his daughters, but that was not enough to trigger me to bet on 4:3. It also said he brought back to life dead sailor during voyage toward Egypt like Fraser Forster brought back to life Man United on 3:0. I'm not in poverty and there is surely someone who needed that kind of help more than me and let's hope he got it. :) After the game Dejan Kulusevski said this "It's important to stay hungry and to continue playing like this". Yes Dejan you should! Next game is against Liverpool who is surely capable of scoring us 4 goals, but let's see will Spurs play again third time in few weeks 4:3 or 3:4 or not. Before this game Ange told it's easier to be PM than football coach because PMs have elections every 4 years, while he has elections every week. Well my man you won election for next week for sure! O-o-o-o o-o-o Ange Postecoglou... One more thing. He proved he's reading Scorum blog because he put Reggi in on result of 4:2. :) I want to point out that after Kulusevski goal anti-Levy song "All I care about is Kulusevski" did echo around stadium very loud almost like "When the Spurs go marching in". Next opponent in semi final is Liverpool, first leg is on N17 and other at Anfield. We rarely win this opponent, but let's see and hope miracle from mid 90ies when Klinsman goal shocked Liverpool can happen again!
